C&C seeks to rise up a generation of multi ethnic emerging leaders to impact their world globally. Utilizing an “emerging-generation friendly,” multimedia coffeehouse format, C&C will:
- INFORM about global justice issues, such as AIDS in Africa and sex trafficking in Asia
- INSPIRE a Christ-like response
- Offer opportunities for INVOLVEment with several ministry partners who are relevantly impacting the world and looking to involve this generation in a holistic missions.
The C&C program begins with a live performing band while guests take a tour of Thailand or Africa via interactive photo documentaries and talk with friends over coffee.
The multimedia segment INFORMS with video footage and photo documentaries that display the AIDS pandemic, and human sex trafficking in Asia up-close and personal. The band will use contemporary worship songs, some original music, and cover tunes from artists like U2 to INSPIRE. There will also be transformational worship times, interactive conversations about the churches role in social justice and missions, as well as a time to meet with ministry representatives from missions organizations who will be able to help those inspired to go, give, or pray to get INVOLVED and mobilized to relevantly impact their world, and fight against oppression and injustice.
