My name is Amaarah DeCuir and I am the founder, facilitator, and Premarital Coach behind Coffee and Conversations– an innovative approach to introduce Muslim singles through meaningful encounters.
I have over 20 years of experience in the premarital space, and have successfully coached numerous individuals and couples on how to have a healthy, safe, and prophetically inspired pre-martial process. My goal is to ensure that Muslim singles can meet and get to know each other for the purpose of marriage in environments that promote authenticity, uphold Islamic boundaries, and facilitate relevant discussions necessary to determine compatibility and preparedness for marriage.
I am currently based in the Northern Virginia area, where I have been an active community member, educator, and thought leader for nearly 30 years. I have been happily married since August 1997. My marriage is intercultural, and our extended family is multi-faith. I am also the proud mother of five adult daughters, who inspire me to invest in the future of our community and support young adult Muslims in their pursuit of righteous spouses.
